Job Description

Do you have experience in a marketing role in an automotive dealer/retailer? Would you like to progress your career and join a leading car manufacturer’s retail marketing team?

A leading marketing agency who run the dealer marketing programme for a highly successful and innovative car manufacturer are seeking a Retail Marketing Consultant to join their team.

Based from home, you’ll work with dealers across the southern third of England (South of Hereford/Bedford/Ipswich). You’ll be tasked with maximising levels of dealer engagement in the manufacturer’s marketing programmes. You’ll monitor dealers’ marketing activity and performance as well as providing them with a consultative marketing service.

The role will involve a combination of working from home and face to face meetings with the dealers in your region.                     

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Regular contact with dealers in your region including video, telephone and face to face meetings
  • Support dealers in the completion of marketing plans ensuring they are correctly completed within required timeframes
  • Reporting to and liaison with the manufacturers’ field and retail teams
  • Work with Focus Dealers and support them with marketing solutions including insights and recommendations
  • Manage marketing for all new dealer launches including brand guidelines, marketing standards, marketing plans and ongoing support.
  • Monitor and manage dealer marketing compliance
  • Support dealers with ad-hoc requests and share best practice
  • Manage supplier relationships
  • Regular reporting on dealer’s activities
  • Co-ordinate national campaigns at a local level and monitor and track results

ABOUT YOU

  • Experience working in a marketing role in an automotive dealership (1+ years)
  • Good knowledge of all marketing communication channels – particularly digital marketing
  • A strong understanding of automotive dealerships and how they operate
  • Ability to measure marketing results/return on investment
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with dealerships
  • A self-starter and able to work effectively both remotely and within a team
  • Ideally educated to degree level or have a marketing qualification
  • Valid driving license
  • Live within the region – Southern England south of Herford/Bedford/Ipswich
