Job Description

A leading motorcycle manufacturer is seeking an Accessories Manager to drive growth in sales of their accessories and clothing products. You’ll be responsible for creating campaigns, market analysis, pricing and inspiring the UK dealers to drive sales. The position is hybrid with occasional travel across the UK to the dealer network.

This role would suit someone with experience in a commercial role in vehicle accessories or clothing. You’ll need to be highly sales focused with great interpersonal and analytical skills which you’ll use to achieve ambitious sales growth targets. As you’ll be working for a leading motorcycle manufacturer you’ll also need to have a passion for motorcycles and hold a motorcycle license.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing accessories and clothing products and maximising sales in the UK market
  • Building strong working relationships with UK dealers to drive engagement and maximise sales
  • Create sales campaigns aimed at both dealers and customers
  • Work closely with the marketing department to create and execute campaigns
  • Liaise with area managers to promote accessories and clothing
  • Occasional dealer visits as required to motivate, address challenges and improve engagement
  • Regular reporting and analysis on performance
  • Respond to technical enquiries from dealers
  • Make recommendations on product pricing for the UK market
  • Competitor analysis to gain a strong understanding of UK market

About You:

  • A proven track record working in a parts or accessories commercial role in the UK market
  • A background working for either a vehicle manufacturer (bike/car/atv), or a parts/accessories/clothing manufacturer or retailer
  • A highly commercial/sales driven approach with a track record achieving sales targets
  • Ability to build strong relationships and influence retailers
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • An understanding of product pricing
  • Experience creating sales and marketing campaigns for parts or accessories
  • Experience of competitor analysis
  • Excellent IT and reporting skills including MS Office
  • Good numerical / analytical skills
  • Hold a current motorcycle license
