Job Description

A leading FN50 leasing and mobility organisation are seeking a Commercial Leader to manage the business in the next phase of its growth. As part of their senior leadership team, you will be responsible for defining and delivering the business strategy and driving the business to achieve ambitious growth targets.  

This senior management role has responsibility for strategy, sales, marketing, product development, customer experience and aftersales. You’ll manage a growing team as well a working with multiple stakeholders across the business. You’ll need to draw on your excellent leadership and influencing skills to propel the business to its next level.

The position is based in Southern England (hybrid) with some European travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing business plans and strategies
  • Leading, motivating and growing a high performing team
  • Setting ambitious sales targets to ensure achievement of business objectives
  • Overseeing marketing
  • Collaborating with and influencing key stakeholders within the business and externally
  • Enhancing and expanding the product offering in line with customer needs
  • Ensuring the highest levels of customer experience are delivered across all areas
  • Ensuring compliance with UK regulations

The successful candidate will have

  • Experience in working in vehicle leasing for either a Captive Finance, Leasing or Vehicle OEM
  • An in-depth knowledge of vehicle operating leasing / contract hire
  • Senior leadership experience, with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams
  • A strong understanding of how vehicle oems operate
  • Experience working with automotive dealer networks
  • A highly sales driven approach with a demonstrable track record of delivering/exceeding sales targets
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing long-term business strategies.
  • Ability to influence multiple stakeholders across multiple businesses
  • A knowledge of automotive/financial services legislation and regulations
